Wanted: Young Leaders......

Perhaps more than at any other time in history, we need leaders among today's youth. WE NEED YOU!!! Television, CD's, video and computer games, the Internet-all beckon for attention. All can sway people to waste time, money and their lives on foolishness, or they can enlighten and teach.

But we need leaders to show the way. for example : Cassie Bernall switched on a school with her quiet testimony of faith in the face of death. Her commitment has paved the way for many others to follow in life. Many teens today have committed themselves to the "TRUE LOVE WAITS" philosophy of keeping themselves sexually pure until marriage. It all starts with a leader. Other teens have organized campaigns in various cities and raised up a new crop of Christians through friendship evangelism. It began because someone dared to step out and lead.

Such leaders are even more necessary when i comes to friendship. But with caring and enthusiastic leaders, anything is possible. Christ is shared. Lives are changed. Families come together.

Warning..

To all MBS committee members who did not attend today's meeting, do produce a legal letter addressed to Pn. Chan Seok Choo not to me. The letter has to arrive on the first day of school. I will not hestitate to take strict actions against you all if a letter is not produced. Pn. Chan is awaiting your letter.

After much consideration, we decided to recreate the t-shirt design. The pics will be posted a.s.a.p.

Some words from me....

As a reminder, the next meeting is on the 5th of December, on a Wednesday morning at 1000hrs to 1230hrs. Do be punctual and inform your head of committee from our school if you can't make it and inform them on who you will be sending to represent your school. It is nice working with you all and I hope your cooperation will constantly be with me in order to make this convention a success. Pray hard and at the same time work hard to make this event a success. Do not hestitate to call Bernard or me to clarify certain things which you guys are not sure of. Thank you and God bless.

Progress By Next Meeting

Publicity- Dennis & Tan Lee Kee
To all who are in this comm., please make sure that you are prepared with the following by the next meeting :-
- Get contact list of different schools in the KL/PJ region to publicize the convention.
- Print out a few designs for the leaflets which will be passed out to the other schools.
- Get the proposed registration forms out to be viewed by the others.

Registration- Galen Law & John Kow
Registration department please ensure that :-
- Get the designs for the name tags of the participants and the committee members
- Tell me the exact amount of counters which will be set up on the convention day.


Hospitality- Evelyn Yang & Daniel Tong
To all in this department, please ensure that :-
- Fine-tune the menu for breakfast and tea-break.
- Estimate a price list for the menu.
- Arrange the number of ushers to welcome participants and also for the offering session.

Creative Committee- Tristan Ng & Anthony Yew
Tristan, try to fine tune the t-shirt design again. After looking through the design, I felt it necessary to change the color scheme of the front design and to change the design at the back of the t-shirt. I want the t-shirt to be a different color next year, not the standard black or white. Maybe a brown or blue would be just fine. So I thought that you just put wordings on the back instead of a picture would be better. Meanwhile, Try to change the color scheme of the front design to a white color. Any inquiries, please call me.

Worship Department- Jason Chua
Jason Chua, do tell me who are your band members and please plan the songs ready. 5 songs, at least.

Prayer and Presentaion- Daniel Tong
Do try to determine the exact timing of the sketch and find a name to replace “BoBo”. And do lots of praying for the prayer requests that you have collected. We REALLY need it. Thanks.

The next meeting will be on the 5th of December, on a Wednesday at 1000hrs-1200hrs.It will be in the same place in our school.
